Crazy Mountain Cabin

Resting high in the stunning alpine terrain of the Crazy Mountains, this seasonal use cabin is a remote getaway with hike or fly-in access. The clients for this project purchased a small in-holding in the Crazy Mountains north of Big Timber, MT and wished to explore options for a remote cabin that can be secured when not in use. This remote cabin concept features modified airplane hanger doors that reveal two stories of full height glass walls from which to view the surrounding wilderness when the cabin is occupied, and seamlessly secure the cabin when not in use.
